19thC Irish Vernacular Painted Pine Table. Best example we have had in some time. The base is in fabulous condition for its age with no structural damage. The patina of the lead paints is the best we have seen. With a waxed finish it is well protected. Really stunning table that could be used as kitchen table or because of how good a condition it is for its age I think it would make a stunning center table in the right setting. The base has typical chamfered detailing on the legs and stretchers. The double stretcher is in perfect order with the tennoned joints still working to this day! Be a lovely stretcher for pots and pans. Original pine boards with evidence of nails holes and old dormant worm holes. L 157cm, W 75cm, H 75cm.
